2011-07-26 Another bit of nature along the canals. Moor hens abound along the canals, especially ones with reeds and weeds and shallow bits [none of which is good for cruising, but it is one of the charms of narrow boating that you aren't upsetting nature too much]. This one was on an 'island' between two parallel locks of the Hillmorton flight.
