2012-07-06 A bit of tonal contrast to bring out the details. This is an exhibition of enterprise - the Galeries Lafayette in Paris, still (or again) going strong. Finished in 1912, it was built in French Art Nouveau style, with a huge glass and steel dome. [I didn't purchase anything].

2012-06-08 My first shot of one of Vienna's wild beavers. They had disappeared from the Vienna area until they were re-introduced in the 1970s. Now they are again plentiful. I was out yesterday bicycling in the Lobau (part of the Danube Wetlands National Park) and saw a photographer with a long lens. So I got out my long lens and pointed it in the same direction.
