Cosy in Coventry This shot effectively ends my series of canal pictures from our recent trip. It shows the Coventry Canal Basin, which was renovated a few years ago. That is our boat. We pulled into Coventry on a bright afternoon. It started to rain in the evening. The next day's weather was horrible - heavy rains and gale force winds - so we decided not to move at all and to spend a second night still moored up in Coventry - snug and warm in our floating home. And thanks for ranking yesterday's damselfly shot under the top five. Much appreciated.
First of the season At the Otmoor nature reserve, near Oxford, UK, this young and not very energetic damselfly chose to rest on my wife's shirt.
Clearing Skies After the rain, the clouds moved quickly away, leaving clear air. May your Tuesday be bright and clear.
