The mathematical bridge This bridge over the Cam was designed over two centuries ago out of straight pieces of wood - either tangential or radial, resulting in a self-supporting structure. That's a bit of Queen's College on the right, and a punter taking two tourists for a ride.
Pigeons make me crazy! 2010-12-7 A whimsical treatment of another slide from the archives. This is from Florence, so it must have been taken around 1975 or 1976. Very encouraging comments on yesterday's icy lavender - for which I thank you. Have a good Tuesday.

If my geography is correct, due left is the Thames Estuary and straight ahead is the English Channel. P.S. One of these huts is for sale with all the usual mod cons (i.e. nothing). I have a telephone number if you are interested. Many thanks for the comments on yesterday's church sculptures.
