Old and young, relaxing in the Parade Garden, Bath
The Great West Window of Coventry Cathedral The "Screen of Saints and Angels" was designed by John Hutton for the 'west' (i.e. side away from the altar) wall of the new cathedral. The dark areas are reflections of the ruins of the original cathedral that burned, like much of Coventry, in a bombing raid on the 14th of November 1940. [n.b. The new cathedral is very lovely inside - a church of reconciliation - but photography is not allowed inside. A wonderful organ too] Many many thanks for your comments on yesterday's shot of Annecy - I think it ended in the top five for the day. Constructive critiques welcome. I know this is a busy picture. Perhaps less would have been more, but I wanted to try to show the size.
"Like a Fountain Stirred" A fountain in Shakespeare's home town, Stratford upon Avon. As always, thanks for your comments and constructive critiques.
