Steinhof
Preparing for the wedding 2012-08-26 My wife and I went to see the church at Steinhof in Vienna and arrived just before a wedding. The church was built in Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) by Otto Wagner between 1903 and 1907 and was recently renovated. - A busy picture, I know. It is actually a 'vertical panorama' of two shots - but I wanted to show the scene behind the altar. The rest of my shots from there are in my Vienna gallery: http://www.jerrybarton.eu/Landscapes/Vienna Many thanks for your kind comments on my picture of a farmer - it ended up at number 8 for the day (helped by SM repeating one comment eight times - smile). Constructive criticism welcome, as always.
Marble column 2010-05-15 One more from the Jesuit Church. A few different styles of columns have been holding up the balconies for the last three centuries. Have a wonderful day.
