Memorial to the creator of dirty dancing This memorial to Johann Strauß (1825 - 1899) was erected in 1912, to commemorate the person who made waltzing fashionable and fast. Ladies and young girls were "embraced and swung around indecently". This monument is probably the most photographed in Vienna.
Fun in the park Penguin fountain designed for kids to splash Stadtpark, Vienna Officially, this is the "Vogeltränkebrunnen" (bird drinking fountain), made by Mario Petrucci in 1953. but I have a feeling that it attracts more boys than birds.
