Early Morning Practice 2010-08-23 Two rowers out for practice on the "New Danube" channel in Vienna. No power boats - and no sails in this section. Thanks for the chuckles and comments about the prairie dog with 'bad hair'. I enjoyed that shot too.

"Farmers' Golf" 2010-08-16: This rural form of 'golf' is played with boots instead of balls, with various 'holes'. There are 21 such holes. You stand behind the hay and throw various sized boots. This is hole 4. Four points for throwing the boot through the loop without touching the loop. An extra point if it doesn't touch the bell. Number 23 has trained hard and managed this shot and many of the others perfectly. The championship matches were held in Vienna this year.
