Seen in Vienna in the 22nd district. The English name is "Western Green Lizard", but I like the (translated) German name.
Yes, palm trees grow in Vienna - at least in parks with the wonderful city gardeners taking care of them. One park has 'theme gardens' and this shot is from the Prehistoric Garden - and the trees are continually misted.
