Cold Danube 2011-02-17 Not a tourist area of Vienna. The private fishing huts/boats have a long tradition here - the owners pay a fee for the mooring spot - nice and relaxing on a warm summer day but not now. The red roofed housing is from between the two wars, and the high buildings behind from the 1990s. Waiting for spring. My feet are cold 2011-02-03 One of the statues lining the formal gardens of Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna. The pointing hand caught my eye. And of course many thanks for the comments on yesterday's train shot. Yes, the tilt/shift effect was done with software. The shot itself was taken from a tower the city erected so that people can watch the construction.
