The Vorwärts House Built in the early 20th century, this building was the home of the Social Democratic Workers Party of Austria until it was forbidden before the 2nd World War. The Workers Paper (Arbeiter-Zeitung) was printed here until 1986. Now only the central portion remains - the wings were torn down and replaced by a hotel. The black flag is in mourning for the death of Johanna Dohnal, one of the most prominent fighters for Women's Rights in modern Austria.
