Bridge over the Vienna River A detail from the 122 m. train bridge over the Wienfluss, built by Otto Wagner in 1897. It connects the 12th and 15th districts of Vienna, Austria. The river is now mainly underground, supplying water to the municipal sewage system (see The Third Man movie).
Science Ascending The view upwards to the dome of the Natural History Museum, Vienna. Around the hole in the upper floor the ceiling is decorated with famous collectors and scientists relevant to the museum.
Dinner in the Museum The Museum of Natural History in Vienna offers a weekly buffet - on the 'first floor' (about 2 floors up) - with a hole in the center looking down to the ground floor. The building was built in the last decades of the 1800s, to house and study the royal collections.
