Still Winter 2013-01-29 Yes, Virginia, there is still a city behind the fog. Enough already! This is typical winter weather in Vienna - but usually less snow. For a change (and headaches), the next few days are forecast to be +10 or 12C (50F), then back to freezing again. Many thanks for the comments on yesterday's vineyard shot. I should try to get out of Vienna into the sunshine, but I have to take my wife to the doctor. C'est une vie, I guess.

Salmannsdorf 2013-01-27 More vineyards in 'upper Vienna' waiting for spring. I'm not sure what building that is - Ill check when the weather gets warmer. -12C last night (10F). Summer House 2013-01-26 Continuing (unfortunately) our theme of winter....Someone owns a small summer house on the hill overlooking the Neustift-am-Walde section of Vienna. It doesn't look used at the moment! I think there is something wrong with the contrast in the trees. I may try to post an update. Critiques welcome.
