Here I am 2012-03-24 Yesterday I was out and about from before dawn to dusk - 614 shots on the chip, first selection down to fifty. Now to look at them closely. This great white egret is one of them, showing off his breeding plumage.
Gulp 2012-03-21 I'm not sure what kind of bird this is - the curved bill makes me guess "Ibis", but the colors are not right for an Ibis. At any rate, it swallowed the fish even before its bill left the water. It seems to have a satisfied look on its face. Update: It is a glossy ibis.
