Have a Ball 2010-12-11 Neither my wife nor I had the time & energy to go to this year's Grafenegger Advent fair in Lower Austria - so this is a shot from last year's fair - traditional hand painted tree ornaments. I hope you find time for peace and family this season. I haven't been posting daily, and haven't been outside too much to take pictures -weather and cold. The cold is getter better, but the weather is getting worse.

Advent Sales 2010-11-29 I just spent the last three days exhibiting (and even selling) my greeting cards and prints. The advent event was held in the 300 year old wine cellar of the vintner we have frequented for the last 25 years or so. The main event was wine, of course, but it was fun - and very cold. Eight hours daily underground. My work was not affected, but the cardboard boxes were all soft from the dampness. At least the snow held off until the car was loaded and I was almost finished with the hour's drive home Sunday evening.

Christmas Cactus 2010-11-26 Purchased a week ago, it is doing well on the dining room table. Perhaps it should be renamed to "advent cactus". Enjoy the day!
