Warming up This shot was taken two weeks ago, and early March was still a bit early for courting, so I assume this guy was just practising his display skills. I need to return and see how he is doing now. Many thanks for the comments on my amusement park shot. The cold & snow of the last few days is now past, so spring can start.
Spring is in the air 2013-03-07 I said there would be more heron pictures. In a couple of weeks we won't be able to see through the leaves. This is the Grey Heron that is usual in Vienna. Fifty meters from parking, five minute walk from public transportation.
