Great Spotted Woodpecker 2011-04-20 After an active day yesterday, I was sitting on the terrace (with camera of course) and this woodpecker, who normally lives in the neighbor's trees, landed in our apple tree. I caught a nice shot before it went to its goal - our bird feeder with peanuts. This is the most common woodpecker in Europe. Thanks for all your comments on my shot of the hanging tulips yesterday! Much appreciated.
