I'm not sure which insect this is - not a grasshopper I believe. Perhaps a locust. Whatever - I found him in the sun on the Danube Island.
Glittery Dragonfly Actually a rather plain brown skimmer, but the bright sun was peaking out under the dark clouds and reflecting off the wings. Seen in the Danube Wetlands National Park
Morning Exercises A common blue male Damselfly stretching his clasper and sverving his abdomen up down and around. Obviously getting ready to go hunting for a female. A video would have been nice, but I always forget that my camera has that capability.
