Owl Butterfly Dreary, grey days in Vienna, so I went to Vienna's Butterfly House and saw their butterfly. Here it is - an Owl Butterfly (called a Banana Butterfly in German, since it first came in shipments of bananas). It is sucking honey from an artificial flower. Honestly, not the best butterfly house in the world. I can recommend the one in Chester, UK and the one in Ft. Meyers, Florida from personal experience. A bit of 'high pass' brightening here, probably to pick up my mood.
Remembrance On this All Souls' Day we remember all those who have gone before us. In Vienna it is time for families to care for graves, visit, and reflect. This shot was taken yesterday on All Saints' Day in one of Vienna's 45 smaller local cemeteries (as opposed to the huge Central Cemetery).
