Cormorant heading home Taken in the National Park along the Danube, a few days ago when the fog actually disappeared around sunset. The shot could have been sharper with a faster shutter speed, but then I would have had to increase the ISO even more.
May a sunbeam light your way I found this wild Mandarin Duck (and two others) living in a secluded, heavily wooded old arm of the Danube. Only its head was lit by the sun. One source I read stated that there are now more wild Mandarin Ducks in Europe than in their native China.
