Autumn in the Vineyard The grape harvest is long over. The first 'young wine' will be tasted on November 11th. The leaves are turning yellow, red, brown as the temperatures slowly drop. Seen in one of Vienna's many vineyards. Many thanks for the kind comments on my cemetery shot.
October Rose There are still some roses blossoming, but these are the last for this season. An autumn picture for a dull rainy day here in Vienna.
Autumn Berries These are the berries of the Viburnum opulus (also called Snowball Tree). They are slightly toxic and are not eaten by birds, so they provide a splash of color all winter. This bunch was hanging in the sun. I smoothed out the background.
