Shy Daisy 2010-07-07 Another macro shot from Saturday's trip to the municipal flower garden here in Vienna. This one is not quite so magnified. These two plants were featured together in a pot and I thought the yellow daisy looked protected by the gray fuzzy leaves. Thanks for all your comments on yesterday's 'flower waves'.

2010-07-06 Flower Waves A group of us went to the Vienna Municipal Flower Garden (Blumengarten Hirschstetten) on Saturday to practice macro photography. I liked the 'waves' against a steep 'shore' with pillars here. No idea about the name. It is a large blossom on a short stem. I googled 'big yellow flower' and got back hundreds of pictures all titled 'big yellow flower' .
