Lavender Fields Not as widespread as in Provence, but we have lavender in Vienna as well. And sometimes I think it is impossible to take a picture of lavender at this time of year without a bee in the picture.

After the Storm After about a month of dry weather, we had a storm. Not too bad, just heavy rain for an hour (other parts of Austria were harder hit). I like this flattened rose from our garden, especially with the striations behind.
